Bishop Lynch’s rigorous college preparatory curriculum caters to a wide range of learners. From honors and Advanced Placement to regular and essentials-level courses, BL meets students where they are and accelerates their academic achievement. Plus, BL’s large dual enrollment program enables students to earn college credit from the convenience of the BL campus – at no additional cost to families!

Belonging
An emphasis on belonging is at the very core of Bishop Lynch High School’s culture – and it animates a student’s journey on campus. Each student belongs to a mentor group and a house in the BL House System, which provides increased student engagement, leadership opportunities, mentorship, and camaraderie on campus. In addition, there are nearly 60 different clubs and organizations at BL to bring students together to explore shared interests.

Prayer and Service
Faith life and Christian service are integral to a student’s formation at Bishop Lynch.
With a vibrant campus ministry program and our St. Catherine of Siena Chapel at the very heart of campus, students can encounter Christ throughout the school day. There are also service opportunities available both on campus and with community partners on Heart of St. Dominic Service Days.

Maisie Swift Soars with Appointment to Air Force Academy
Senior Maisie Swift was pleasantly surprised earlier this week by a phone call from Congressman Colin Allred. After completing a rigorous application process which included securing a nomination from Rep. Allred, Swift stands among a top-tier group of approximately 1,400 young people who have earned an appointment to the prestigious United States Air Force Academy.

Black & White Gala Honors Legacy and Celebrates Future Friars
The Friar family filled the Anatole on Saturday evening for more than just the fabulous live auction items and an exhilarating performance from Emerald City. In donning their best black & white attire and dancing shoes, Legacy Gala attendees had a singular focus- to raise needed funds for student scholarships.

Preaching the Gospel: Dominican Pillar of Service
One of the mottos of the Dominican Order, where we find our heritage at Bishop Lynch, is Contemplare et contemplata aliis tradere, meaning “to contemplate and to give to others the fruits of our contemplation.” This motto is often attributed to St. Thomas Aquinas, and is at the heart of our Heart of St. Dominic Christian Service program.

We are so excited to have all Future Friars back on campus for the Summer at BL summer camp program. For students grades K-8th, June 3-July 18. Six weeks of fun in academics, athletics, and the arts!

Seven Friars sign their NLI to continue their career at the next level
Congratulations to these seven Bishop Lynch student-athletes on signing to play and continue their academic career at the next level. Bishop Lynch had a ceremony this morning to celebrate Godswill Giadolor, Jordan Hooks, Ben McLean, Luis Moreno, Patrick Washington, Grayson Wise, and Seb Yervasi.
